About My Place
My Place was opened just one year ago in June 2008. Even though 'My Place' is a new store our lives have revolved around quilting and fabric for over 25 years. We previously owned a quilt shop in Berrima and have a wholesale distribution business, so retailing is in our blood.
We love to welcome new and old customers to our store housed in an original Bowral building dating to around 1890. It has been lovingly renovated and is just perfect for our mix products. The store's look incorporates the love of fabric and all things 'sewey' with beautiful homewares and vintage style products. There is always new fabric to inspire us and a new selection of products for home or giving to excite us.
